Exercise & Bonding between Parent & Child

As a Mom it can be hard to find the time to go to gym, whether you have a new baby or a little toddler. You tend to run around, juggling home, work and your little one, leaving precious little time to exercise, not to mention not getting much sleep in your new, hectic routine. Motherhood throws loads of tasks at Moms and at times it feels like too much to even consider exercising. And if you do find the time, you have to find someone you trust to look after that new person in your life.

What’s a Mom to do?

The answer is simple. Sign up for a Mommy and Me Fitness Class in your area, and enjoy spending time with your little one, whilst getting some exercise and also, socializing with like-minded Moms.

Baking/Cooking with Your Child

Mommy & Me Fun Chef will help young children to learn and practice some basic math concepts and build language skills as well as fine motor skills. It may take a little flexibility and some simple prep work, but with the right expectations, your time in the kitchen with your child can be a culinary adventure that you will both enjoy.

Measure one cup of water, Stir the mixture or rolling out the Dough… all of these tasks help children to develop necessary academic, cognitive and motor skills. I am sure you didn’t even know that each time you let your child help you to prepare a meal, you are preparing them for success in school and in life.

Baking/Cooking with your Children can offer a great variety of opportunities to learn and grow.

Messy Fun Sensory Development

Messy Fun is extremely important for a child’s development. It provides children with an exciting tactile and sensory experience that inspires their curiosity, allows them to explore the world around them and enhances their learning, language and creativity. Children learn through experimentation and discovery and messy fun encourages children to explore new textures and manipulate different materials through touch.
Not only does messy fun enhance a child’s cognitive development and learning, but it also improves a child’s physical development as well!

Squelch… Squish… Splat…
Kids just love getting mucky and making a mess – whether that’s squishing jelly through their hands, smearing mud across their faces or crunching rice krispies between their fingers!
